Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission

The Bridge is a movement for all people to know God, find freedom, discover calling, and make a difference. We believe that the gospel does 4 things: saves, sanctifies, empowers, and sends; this has helped us to shape and structure our church in a way that allows those four gospel-empowered steps to be lived out.

The primary way that we help people to know God is through our Worship Gatherings. Our Worship Gatherings are both disciple-oriented and seeker-intelligable, meaning they will edify believers and evangelize nonbelievers with the sound gospel teaching.

The primary way we help people to find freedom is through our Bridge Groups network. Our Bridge Groups are where true life-change takes place, and they are spiritual families that surround each other with encouragement, scripture, prayer, and support for next steps in their faith.

The primary way we help people discover their calling is through Intro To The Bridge–an environment built specifically to help people move from curious to connected members of our church and discover the unique ways that they can make a gospel impact.

The primary way that we help people to make a difference is through Ministry Teams. There is a wide variety of teams where people can serve in ways that use their unique calling, spiritual gifts, passions, and experiences to make an impact for the Kingdom and serve others.

Our Vision

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”   Acts 1:8

The Bridge is a movement. We take seriously the calling on our church to reach people with the gospel in our cities, nation, and world based, and we want our reputation as a church to be “missionally aggressive”–the kind of the church that will stop at nothing to reach the lost.

“in Jerusalem”

The primary way we reach our city is being a church with missional posture, investing in local church pastors and planters, and planting other missional churches and locations in the greater Nashville area.

“in Judea & Samaria”

The primary way we reach our nation is by planting new churches and strengthening existing churches around the country with resources and support.

“the ends of the earth.”

The primary way we reach our world is by investing a portion of resources in mission work around the world, with a specific focus on unreached people groups, children, and church planting.
