Nashville Tornado Disaster Response

How you can help our city in the time of it's greatest need!

Pray – Pray for the individuals and families affected by the tornado.  Pray for the safety of the emergency personnel and volunteers responding to affected areas.  Pray that God would restore these communities and bring about spiritual renewal and revival as a result of this tragedy.

Give – The following items can be dropped off in the designated area in the lobby of The Bridge Church Spring Hill campus between now and Thursday at noon. If after hours, please place items in the marked bins outside of the main front entrance.

Misc Supplies*

  • Bottled water
  • Crackers or other nonperishable, ready-to-eat snacks
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Combs
  • Hand towels
  • Deodorant (stick)
  • Travel size shampoo/conditioner
  • Bar Soap
  • Small packages of diapers (sized 2-5 preferred)
  • Baby wipes
  • Baby formula and food
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Bleach
  • Heavy duty trash bags
  • Gloves
  • Box cutters
  • Tarps
  • Blankets and sleeping bags
  • Dog/Cat food

*All items must be new.

**No powders or aerosols.

Go – Our first GO team will meet at 6am tomorrow morning, March 4, at 1019 Claremont Drive in Columbia (team leader, Cory Miller’s home). The team will then head to East Nashville to participate in debris removal.  Any able-bodied person is encouraged to GO.  Please wear protective clothing, close-toed shoes (work boots preferred) and bring your own sack lunch, water, and any tools you own that could be useful for debris removal (i.e. chainsaw, rake, shovel, work gloves, etc.).   You will be required to sign a waiver of liability upon arrival.
