Coronavirus Health Update

Everything you need to know about what we're doing as a church in regards to COVID-19.

Bridge family,

As you may know, the first confirmed case of Coronavirus, COVID-19, was announced in Williamson County today. It appears to be an isolated case and the Tennessee Department of Health has maintained the overall risk to the general public remains low and that the patient is isolated at home.

Let us put your mind at ease with a few things for this Sunday at The Bridge:

We have taken a few extra measures to do whatever it takes to keep our church family safe and healthy. You will notice several more hand sanitizers available at both locations. Our facilities staff is doing a deep cleaning at both locations and our Kids’ areas have taken extra precautions by cleaning each toy and sanitizing rooms before Sunday and between services. And you may even notice a few more fist and elbow bumps instead of handshakes.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local medical experts recommend the same preventatives for Coronavirus as the flu. These include washing your hands regularly and thoroughly, cough etiquette, and staying home if you are sick.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will follow the guidelines and recommendations set by local authorities regarding public gatherings.

Above all, let’s not be held captive by fear. We can’t wait to extend the Welcome Home of Christ to everyone who walks through our doors this weekend. We love you, Bridge fam … see you on Sunday!

Note: We are following the CDC’s recommendations for faith-based organizations.
